About the role
As our HR Associate, you'll be the operational backbone of the people function at Codeable. You'll run recruitment coordination end to end, keep employee records accurate and compliant, and make sure every new hire's first week feels organized and welcoming. You'll report to the HR Manager and work closely with hiring managers across engineering, design, and operations, as well as with finance on payroll inputs. This role exists because we're growing quickly and need someone who can bring structure to hiring and employee operations before it turns into chaos
What you'll do
- Coordinate the full recruitment cycle: posting roles, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and keeping candidates informed
- Run onboarding for new hires, from offer letter and documentation to first-week setup and orientation
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and leave data in the HRIS
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs (attendance, leave, overtime, deductions) and share them with finance
- Support performance review cycles by tracking timelines, collecting forms, and following up with managers
- Help draft and update HR policies, offer letters, and internal documentation
- Support offboarding: exit interviews, clearance, and final documentation
What you bring
- 0-6 months of experience in an HR, recruitment, or people operations role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
Nice to have
- Exposure to technical hiring or working with engineering managers
- Experience at a startup or in a company under 100 people
